I'm a crime writer and editor. I believe in God. I have Asperger's Syndrome. I'm a liberal. I write depressing poetry. I like text-based roleplay, but not fantasy or erotic.
With every death (about 15 in the time it took you to read the first paragraph above, and another 8 by this point), my heart grows heavier; one more and I think it will shatter irreparably.
Every cry of pain and unspoken sorrow resonates through me, becoming my own. Every injustice slices into me, my own blood joining the blood of the murdered, whether by a sadist or the state.
This is one day in my life. Each one I have left, every time I wake up, I am joyful, for I have so much that others can dream of. For a home, a job, a loving family, and health--for my own sanity, indeed I rejoice.
